Overview
 Petrucci Marketing is a social media and Facebook advertising industry leader and a growing boutique digital marketing agency in Carlsbad, CA.

We are looking for a creative photographer to work with the team on creating eye-catching photographs for clients to utilize in their marketing campaigns, social media, websites, and any other platform where visual content support is needed. Content may include models, products, buildings, places, events, and food depending on the client and campaign or industry.

After editing, your photographs will be paired with written copy to be used on social media platforms, in email blasts, or other marketing content. Taking time to understand the various brand voices for all of the clients important in order to capture images that will align with marketing initiatives and their aesthetic.

This position is part time with the potential to be full time. 401k and other profit shares available as well. Pay will be 100% dependent on experience, and in this industry that can be vastly different from person to person.

Immediate responsibilities will include:
-Attend weekly TPM team meetings
-Attend other in-person meetings, as-needed
-Drive to client locations or events
-Create photography ideas in conjunction with our 3-month social media content outlines for assigned clients
-Stay current on social media and digital marketing trends as they relate to photography or video
-Use our project management tool to participate in team communication and to update the rest of the team regularly on your project progress
-Use props we give you or shop for props as needed seasonally (with our business credit card)
-Set up white backgrounds with proper lighting, flat lays, or lifestyle atmospheres
-Proactive in creating new ways to promote product through photography
-Assist in posting photos if needed
-Perform other duties as assigned

Tasks & functions of Photographer

1. Create photos, including:
a) Seeking out appropriate photographic subjects and opportunities
b) Digitally enhance images by, for example, changing emphasis, cropping pictures, correcting minor faults, or moving objects around
c) Take photos of new products for a variety of clients in different industries to be used on social media, digital marketing assets, websites, etc.
e) The ability to combine your artistic eye with business sense.

2. Work in collaboration with the entire Marketing Team:
a) Report to Tracy Petrucci
b) Collaborate with the Petrucci Marketing managers on client needs

3. Communicate directly with clients and be able to organize and plan.

4. Proactive and creative about new ways of promotion and communicate to the marketing team.

Requirements:

-1+ Years of experience taking professional quality images
-Access to a personal computer or laptop
-Ability to deliver on deadlines and prioritize tasks
-An eye for design and aesthetic appeal
-MAJOR attention to detail and willingness to review and revise content repeatedly if needed. If you are afraid to be thorough with checking the quality of your work, this will not be the right position for you.
-Positive attitude, patience, open mindedness, and an ability to be ok with ambiguous projects and troubleshooting when things are glitchy. You'll need to be resourceful at times!

Useful skills and experiences:

1. Photography skills (shooting, lighting, etc.)
2. Photography post production skills (e.g. Picassa, Adobe Lightroom, PhotoShop)
3. Knowledge of design softwares (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, PhotoShop)
4. Strong interest or experience with promotion
5. Good English skills and experience working with clients
6. Knowledge of video softwares (e.g. Adobe Premiere, After Effects)
7. Knowledge of DropBox

Outside of camera and lighting equipment, and photography related tools, you will be using:

Compensation
Pay is dependent on experience. While we are primarily searching for someone in house, we are open to freelance applications.
