Last night I had the pleasure of attending the San Diego Chamber's
big summer extravaganza. I attended with Jillian Rose Darlington, the
founder of a new app
MomCo, where moms connect.
I used
to attend the chamber networking events years ago, but found them a bit
dry and predictable, and when I didn't really need to worry about
growing my business, I decided to defer my energy elsewhere. BUT they
really impressed me last night! They have a new direction, are ditching
some of their poor performing member tools, and maybe just maybe might
rope me back in if I see a new crowd start to attend these meetings.
Once
we were there we really enjoyed checking out all the booths. Please
enjoy the following pictures, as we snapped a shot with most of the
vendors at the event. They were all so great, and it was fun being silly
at a networking event. ;)

I've always seen FTzeeFoods around, it's pretty cool! |

Who doesn't love a little retro visit to the Corvette Diner? |

Oh and course, we met the Mayor of San Diego, Kevin Faulconer. |
And there you have it. Around SD with the chamber, Tracy, and Jillian. Now back to real work.
I've been to events at other places, but this was my first time in here. Great place. Food was good and seating was very comfortable. Also, very good view from where I sat. This is such a cool venue and the corporate event planning team was equally amazing.
